So get ready, prepare to be cosplay amazed, and vote in the poll at the bottom after the pretty pics! The top three winners will get featured on our homepage and be used as our feature image when we announce the winners, forever immortalizing them on our site.Ĭomments are welcome at the bottom of the post, just be nice and fair to everyone. Remember this about having fun and enjoying these wonderful cosplayers while showing them your support, cheating is not fun! Everyone is allowed to vote once per day (every 24 hours). If you want your friends to throw a vote your way, they can too, so tell them to vote! Spamming the vote box with multiple votes for yourself or favorite in one day is a no-no, though death lasers will engage. If you see yourself, vote for yourself, that’s not cheating really its fine. It goes by picture, some are solo, some are a team. You the readers get to choose who had the best costume of the show. Once again Cincinnati stepped up with some wonderful creations that we simply cannot judge ourselves. For us though, as cool as that all was, seeing the terrific cosplayers is what really made our experience. We saw the originalBatman and Robin there among a countless list of celebrities and comic creators. First, it took several months, but we finally rejoined the convention scene for our latest Battle of the Cosplayers! Not only that, but for the second year in a row we returned to south Ohio for the always amazing and spectacular Cincinnati Comic Expo. The winners have been announced, check them out here! CINCINNATI COMIC EXPO 2015 FOR FREE
Both Sean and Graham talk about their experiences bringing Middle Earth to life and answer questions from the audience.Who’s out and about for Free Comic Book Day Today? Madi got to hang out with a Pink Mandalorian this morning. The Middle Earth Panel with Sean Astin ( Lord of the Rings Trilogy) & Graham McTavish ( The Hobbit Trilogy) was an hour well spent. There we many great panels over the weekend, but only one we had time to attend. I’m hoping we can get them to be our guests on the show sometime in the near future. This is a beautiful book that I can’t wait to read. Squarriors, The epic saga of warring animals who inexplicably become intelligent after the dying off of the human race. We met so many artists that it would take forever to name them all, but one comic stood out to me at the end of the day. Original cast members Claudia Wells & James Tolkan were also in attendance at the expo all weekend for photos and autographs. Then on the 19th, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra played the film’s soundtrack live in synch with the movie! (You know, your cousin, Marvin Berry) performed ‘Earth Angel’ live! On the 18th, the day ended with the Fourth Annual Geek Prom being turned into the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance! And if that wasn’t cool enough, Harry Waters, Jr. The expo celebrated a few different ways. Not only was the convention honoring the dynamic duo, but there was also a 30th anniversary celebration for ‘Back to the Future’. We also were able to see a few bat vehicles and cosplayers. We weren’t able to get the greatest of photos of the two as our press passes didn’t allow us to take pictures of the celebrity guests and the cost of getting a picture was a bit too high for our taste…so we made due. The guest’s of honor were Adam West and Burt Ward so I had to splurge and meet both Batman and Robin this year. We were given press passes to check out the event and had a great time! Here’s a bit of what we saw. 18 thru the 20th at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati Ohio. Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since our last post, but we are going to try to keep posting every week.
